Marissa Sargent
Principal & Founder
As principal of Sargent Professional Services, Marissa draws on her rich and varied career experiences to bring commitment and a can-do attitude to her entrepreneurship in the bookkeeping business. She is an Army veteran whose husband is currently in the military. Together they are the proud parents of two young girls and live on a farm just outside of Austin, TX.
After Army/medical career adventures, Melissa furthered her education and is currently on her way to earning her stripes as a Certified Public Accountant. Originally from St. Paul, MN, Marissa loves all aspects of being in nature and feeling the expansiveness of its open spaces. At the same time, she is very dedicated to working with clients and helping them realize their dreams.
“Nature brings me a sense of calm, while the city gives me motivation” she says. By offering virtual bookkeeping in her own business consultancy, she believes she has the best of both worlds.
